What is a community without a real sense of belonging to a group? Not much, I would say. Well, I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

And finally did something about it.

As much as I enjoy sharing my (almost) daily looks and sharing the occasional tips, I feel there is something missing when the idea of “building a real community” comes to my mind. And building such a community has always been one of my goals with what I’m doing.

Even though I have all my social network accounts like Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter, these platforms don’t really allow for a community to be built among various members that share the same passion or interest.

That is why I have created an exclusive Facebook group, using my recently adopted slogan as the name:

Dressing Up in a Dress Down World

What do you think about the name? A bit lengthy, a bit pretentious? I know, but hey, I feel it expresses just exactly the message that I’ve always been trying to convey.

You will also start hearing me say this slogan at the beginning and ending of my YouTube videos. 🙂 So, it’s kind of official now, better get used to it. Hah!

Anyway, the idea is to provide you with a platform where you can share your own outfits, discuss classic menswear, support each other with tips, exchange feedback and positive criticism, you know the drill… all things a supportive community is supposed to do.

The group will be moderated by none other than me, unless it grows huge (and let’s hope it does), in which case I will probably enlist the help of other amazing gentlemen willing to do some moderating work. But I am getting ahead of myself now.

I really don’t have much to say for now. I just wanted to make this an official invitation to all of you, my dear readers and followers, to join this exclusive group.

Click here to be taken directly to the Facebook group. You will have to request to join and I will approve your request!

See you all there!
